Attorney Jordan Isringhaus was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. 2008, Jordan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Geography, cum laude from Valparaiso University in Indiana. Following graduation, he worked as a consultant at the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Jordan attended Stetson University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude. While at Stetson, Jordan was an extern for Federal Magistrate Judge Thomas B. McCoun III in Tampa, and served as an editor of the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy. Jordan also was selected for the Honors Program, a year-long jurisprudence colloquium for the top 15%. In his final year, Jordan moved to Atlanta, Georgia after being selected to serve as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Upon earning his Juris Doctor in 2011, Jordan accepted an Associate Attorney position at a South Tampa law firm and practiced in the fields of collection defense, creditor harassment, and bankruptcy. In 2013, Jordan joined LeavenLaw in St. Petersburg, FL and practiced in the collection defense department where he litigated trials and managed appeals cases, arguing multiple times before several district court appeals panels. While at LeavenLaw, Jordan also developed a practice engaged in prosecuting discriminatory institutions on behalf of disabled consumers under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
In May 2018, Jordan partnered with Aaron Swift to form Swift, Isringhaus & Dubbeld, P.A. in an effort to better serve consumers across Florida. Jordan primarily advocates for consumers who have been injured by inaccurate credit reporting and illegal debt collection methods and discriminated against by inaccessible businesses.
Outside of the office, Jordan is a weekly reading tutor for the Lawyers for Literacy program which assists at-risk third-grade students to develop the reading skills necessary to pass the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Jordan is also a hereditary member of both fraternal civil war organizations, the Sons of Confederate Veterans and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Jordan lives in St. Petersburg with his wife Erica and their English Bulldog, Bella.
